MegaSilk Olive Neutralizing Shampoo

Silk Elements® MegaSilk Olive Neutralizing Shampoo is a post-relaxer essential designed to gently cleanse while restoring balance to hair and scalp. Part of the Mega Silk Collection, this shampoo is made for hair worn natural or relaxed and supports hair that has undergone chemical services and needs moisture alongside proper neutralization.

This targeted neutralizing shampoo helps remove excess alkali and caustic residue left behind after relaxing, supporting a return to hair and scalp’s natural pH level. The nourishing formula features olive oil, avocado and silk to help counter dryness often associated with chemical relaxeres. Olive oil provides antioxidant care and shine, avocado helps soften and strengthen brittle-feeling hair and silk enhances conditioning for a smoother feel after rinsing.

After rinsing relaxer thoroughly, apply to damp hair and work into lather and rinse. Repeat process. If lather is pink, this is an indication that not all the relaxer has been rinsed out of the hair. Repeat process until lather is white, indicating hair has been neutralized. Follow up with the ideal Silk Elements™ Conditioner or Treatment.
