How To Use
Start-up
- Plug the Pressing Comb into an electrical outlet and slide the On / Off switch to the “On” position. Turn the Rheostat Control Dial to the desired heat level.
- Wait for Pressing Comb to heat up, which takes approximately 60 seconds. For optimum styling temperature, allow iron to heat for 2-3 minutes before using.
Caution: Pressing Combs with a Rheostat Control Dial operate at high temperatures when used on high settings. When using for the first time, begin with the LOWEST setting. Please read all instructions carefully before using. For best results, follow these guidelines:
Heat Selection:
- 200°F – 250°F For fine, thin, fragile hair
- 300°F – 350°F For normal, wavy, medium-textured hair
- 400°F – 430°F For thick, coarse hair
Operating Instructions:
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
- If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
- Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
IMPORTANT: During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice smoke and a slight odor. This is normal and is not a cause for concern
